This week we were interviewed by @kmtvkent about being an inclusive space and what Pride means to us as a local business. We talked about being a queer owned bar and how important it is for us to use our visibility to increase awareness about the need for hospitality to be more inclusive. It's important not to assume people will just know you are welcoming and safe, but also to explicitly say so and actively challenge any prejudice or bigotry you encounter. Basically, for more information please reread. So, the water is back....🙌 We've no choice but to go ahead and cancel this evening's event. Due to a staggering lack of competence on behalf of our water supplier we were forced to turf out a bar full of lovely patrons this evening (and ask them to ideally not go for a wee on their way out 😖) Fans of maths will quickly deduce this is one third of what we are pouring this weekend..... Happy Bank Holiday Everyone! Incredible scenes last night as Kev logged his 700th individual beer at the bar on Untapped! Our usual reminder not to trust Google when it comes to business opening hours over a Bank Holiday weekend...
